been some time since i've updated!
well, there are many things to talk abt but i dont know where to start with. well, maybe with some recent stuffs ba. track back see how much i can rmb.
for today, just stayed at home and slack a bit before i started doing ntoes for MOBIO presentation, which is tml, and done my part for INAC slides, which is on tues! damn man~ so many things going on next week! 2 presentations and CCT for stats, which is tml! rwar~ thank god i wasnt in slack mode that much! though i havent started revising for stats tml. but i did finish off MOBIO and INAC! wahahha~ later gonna study for stats.
as for ytd, sat, went to help out felicia with elderly house painting. there were me, donnie, nadjy, joel, felicia, wei san, wen xin, jian ming, shu juan and hui xian with her frens. we all met at tiong bahru mrt station before proceeding to d area. haha~ we met henry, who is one of d organisers, at the cc over there. donnie, nadjy n i discovered a badminton court there. then we were like thinking of having weekly badminton either over there or toa payoh. hahaha~ anyway, we took a ride in henry's car down to d area we meet with other organisers. there were 2 houses to paint, but with our man power, they decided to paint both houses instead! so we were split into grps. joel, nadjy, donnie, wei san, felicia, shu juan, hui nee and i went over to the other house!
first we started off moving the furnitures to one side. then we placed newspapers on the floor lor. then we had to wait for our paint to arrive so we slacked within d house! haha~ took some pics and then we receive call that d paints arrived! hahaha~ went down to take d stuffs use for painting. then we started d job! donnie n i took d roller paint while d rest took d brushes. in fact, there were only 4 brushes and 2 rollers, we had 8 ppl. so 2 had to slack. LOL~ anyway, we started with coating d wall n celling with white layer first. well, d celling was to be painted white! however, since we diluted d paint, we had to do double layers. haha~ so donnie n i worked hard to cover most of the walls while d rest did the make up for d edges. then donnie n i tried to paint d celling. damn it was hard work man! having to keep looking up (no matter what angle i tried, unless i dont look up)! haha~ i'm sure satisfied with d celling we've done. though a bit of orange colour (previous celling colour), but it feels like we've made it look like more texture. artistic i say? LOL~
we took quite some time to finish painting one side of the house man! then hui nee left halfway and xl came! well, we thought he came along but he brought jolyn along! haha~ finally get to see his gf in person eh. haha~ anyway, we had lunch and continue painting. well, there is something i shld say abt nadjy. he is like d supervior for this whole painting thingy la! he really did very lil (cant blame not enough brushes) but he helped in mixing paint though. lol~ then he was like "bossing" us ard or something. hahaha~ though we had fun! hahaha~ then the organisers brought us some snacks! they were egg tarts!!! damn nice~~~ hehehe~ in the end we manage to finish up d painting job. not very well done with d kitchen though. =( then we cleaned up n left the place! it was a hard day's work but it worth it cos its very meaningful. helping d elderly's to re-paint their flat, making it look better n more comfy. hehehe~ went straight home with dinner bought frm KFC! am now receiving d pics from hui nee but i lazy upload! lol~ some other day ba. hahaha~
and erm, oh yea. instructor's list came out! though quite unexpected with d list though. no complains but just pretty unexpected. hahaha~! shall not say much abt it. lol~ hehehe~ anyway, that shld be it ba~ cant rmb much already. hahaha~ tatas~
