hey hey~ time to update some stuffs on my blog. however, i wld like to address my deepest concern to donald, a gd fren in my class, a potential GL n also a nice nice guy~ hey! dont get it wrong~ is not like he has move on to d other world or something like that~ its not not not that~ well, wont say much but to donald: take care man! hope u can start all over again~! we'll be supporting ya!
so i stopped at tues, so lets just start off with weds then~!
had GL training n went for PT(like finally) well, its was definately tough for me cos i haven been exercising! wahahaha~ now my body(shoulders, tighs, chest) r aching man~ hahaha~ then we learnt some cheers n all, return our punishment n all! cleared n then donald, steph, joel n i waited at d green patch. i was waiting for dear's games meeting to be done! woots~ then donald n steph went off first while i accompany dear home for her to change. then we took a cab down to mediacorp studios. why u ask? for d dance floor! woots~ on national live tv!!! donald, steph n dear was caught on tv LIVE! well, for me? i was hiding behind mr glenn ong. hahaha~ well, for a reason of cos; too hideous to appear on live tv n also for another reason~ bleah~
well, at d live its so diff but expected so of this to happen n to do this n that like d organiser said. well, sad thing is, BFC got voted out!!! nooooo~ so sad for them to go out la!! well, i'm sure E Square will be out next!! kick them out man!!!! n anyway, we were there to support melvin n sharon! well, melvin was our SW DS teacher! hahaha~ so go there support him! as for steph, she went there to see also~ well, melvin n sharon danced jive man! n really its a standard i doubt we can do though, d hoppinh ard part. heh~ but they were gd! but too bad d judges did say some things that r right. they do have gd choreo but always at d safe line. man, i know they cld do better! well, for d better grps wld be Fantastic 4, Styles frm Beyond, JDI n soul fusion! man they were really great! oh yea, we were standing at d moshpit; ya know d 'balcony' ard d stage. heh~ afterwards, we went home! wahahaha~
moving on to thurs~ man it was d best day i had! cos its been uber long since dear came to my house la! even dear think so also~ hee~ then we watched d movies we bought. Series of Unforunate Events was a really well written script i supposed. its nice but it can be boring at some times though. next was Happy Feet! man those penguins were adorable!! wahahha~ not a bad movie though we have finish d ending cos dear had to go off to meet her parents. we took a cab down to sch n she went to meet her parents while i go to d convention centre to check out d booth! well, booth was not bad for that day, 29 ppl came to join! oh i even met my niece, reb there~ heh~
afterwards went off to meet jx n daryl for pool! i kept losing though cos i wasn't on form that night. my aimings were right but it just doesnt seem to get in or off angle a bit. haiz~ went home till quite late though. abt 12+ then sleep~
as for today, had booth duty all day! actually mine is only 10-1pm but i stayed on for d rest d day! well, jx called me asking me why i didnt go work. i was like stunned!!! i rmb clearly i only work for 3 days, tues, sat n sun! then he told me don(my outlet manager) put me to work on fri 1-6pm! hello~ i wasnt even informed can! if u wanna put me on a shift that i wasnt working on that, sure be it. just have that courtesy to INFORM me! now its been made like i'm d irresponsible one -.- fk shit man! well, off these saddening thing. whats more saddening was our results for today was only 27 ppl signed up!!! omg! oh oh, abigial wong signed for our camp too! so is kian tuck's fren justin. haha~ well, was shocked to see abigial though. at first she sat down then i look at her(thinking so familiar), then i look at d form i see her name then it struck! hahaha~ it was her though, she cldnt recognise me cos i changed a lot(thats what she said though). heh~ i guess so ba~ i wasnt at my old hairstyle, got dye n got a little bit more thinner(thats bad! T_T).
anyway, went up to LSCT to put down on d stuffs n joel n i went down to KAP mac to have our dinner. afterwards we went home lor~ heh~ quite a fun day though. n my grp, BONNET finally settled on design n as well as made a sudden change of our identity to bracelets. heh~ yep, i'm quite satisfied with my grp now! woots~ except that we have think of cheers according to out grp now. hahah~ oh n anyways, i got a new desktop now! n its definately capable of playing C&C3!!! woots~ n i'm using it now to update my blog! woots~ lalala~
oh yea this is something i saw on a magazine, so i thought i wld share with u guys~
Art to dating(those who r singles!)1. Dress appropriately for ur first date or risk being condemned within d first 3 secs by ur partner. Women shld refrain frm wearing revealing attire as men like to ogle at other men's dates but not have others stare at theirs.
2. Guys, show ur gentlemanly side n pick up d tab for d first few dates at least.
3.Communication is key. State ur feelings so d other party will rmb ur preferences. However, endless complaining is a no-no. Non-verbal communication like smiles count too.
4. Do not regale urdate with stories of ur exes. They damage ur reputation n make u seem like u r on d rebound.
5. Go dating in diff settings n with company. It adds to d mood n can reveal diff aspects of ur date's personality.
6. Do not pooh-pooh speed dating. Its a great way to meet new ppl.
7. Famly n friends can be ur scouts if u let them know d type of person u r looking for.
Long distance relationships(this is for me!) r becoming increasingly common with partners moving broad for study n work. Not many of them work out though. Try maintaining it by:
1. Daily contact via phone, email or even webcam.
2. Being truthful n abv board in ur actions.
3. Scheduling regular visits n keeping d appointments.
4. Creating dating traditions like dining at restaurants when u get together.
Choosing a potential mate(for all!)1. Love is blind so pay attention to what ur loved ones dislike abt ur partner.
2. Take.Ur.Time. A person's true self starts surfacing after 3 months(no wonder first 3 months is called honeymoon). Studies in d States show that couples who date less than 2 years have higher rates of divorce than others(so dont bother patching back if its less than a year).
3. Create a list of deal makers/breakers to assess if a person is suitable for u. Facotrs can include religious beliefs, values n ambitions.
4. Dont discount d possibility of ppl transforming into The One for u or vice versa. Change is gd so long as it makes u a better person.
5. Dont be afraid of marring an unequal so long as he/she has qualities that u deem impt.
